The Role

The Account Manager II - Inside is a key position responsible for growing revenue in small to medium-sized customer accounts. This role requires developing long-term, consultative relationships within the customer base to maximize revenue and minimize loss of revenue/account churn.

Main Responsibilities
  • Protect base revenue and meet/exceed growth quota to maximize revenue within assigned customer base.
  • Identify decision-makers, determine customer needs, and position solutions to meet those needs.
  • Assess product fit and expand product portfolio through customer relationships.
  • Update relevant customer information, including sales funnel activity, opportunity updates, and maintenance of monthly goals.
  • Provide superior customer service with every customer interaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and 2 years of sales experience.
  • Prior account management experience with a history of working to retain and grow existing accounts.
  • Strong oral and written communication, analytical problem-solving, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Preferred Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Demonstrated stable track record of success in an inside/outside sales role.
  • Advanced understanding of technology products and solutions and knowledge of how they are interrelated.
  • Passion for customer service and the desire to understand and introduce new technology to the customer base.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role varies based on the employee's primary work location. Compensation depends on individual qualifications and may include short-term incentives or sales compensation.
