Lending Support Specialist II

The role of the Business Service Specialist is essential in our lending locations, where they assess and meet the needs of both walk-in and telephone customers while ensuring that our lending systems remain accurate and up-to-date.
This position plays a vital role in supporting marketing and sales initiatives at our lending locations, as well as providing necessary accounting and clerical assistance. The Business Service Specialist collaborates closely with various loan officers to guarantee a high level of customer satisfaction.
While our customers are passionate about agriculture, a background in this field is not a prerequisite for becoming a Farm Credit Business Service Specialist.
Given the complexity of our loan products and systems, the following skills are essential for success in this position:
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of experience in lending, finance, or a related field.
- Willingness to work overtime with limited notice to meet customer needs.
- Potential travel to other offices to cover for colleagues in the BSS role and for training purposes.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Ability to perform responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.
- Comprehensive knowledge of technology.
- Understanding of credit and accounting policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities.
- High level of integrity.
- Proficient in exercising sound judgment and decision-making.
- Approach work with high standards and a positive outlook.
Compensation Range:
$33,600-$47,600, along with incentive opportunities. (Farm Credit is an EEO/AA employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.)
