Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate patient check-in processes upon arrival
  • Ensure accuracy of patient demographic information
  • Manage collection of outstanding balances and co-payments
  • Handle incoming calls and relay messages appropriately
  • Confirm insurance coverage for patients

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical office setting is preferred
  • Educational background in healthcare support is advantageous
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is beneficial

Physical Demands:

  • Primarily sedentary work with occasional standing

Work Environment:

  • Onsite position within a healthcare facility

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $19.00
