Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication between outpatient clinics and patients to coordinate testing and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with both outpatient and inpatient departments to confirm patient information, ensure proper procedural ordering, and secure necessary authorizations.
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and manage office supplies to support clinical operations.
  • Oversee front desk activities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patients and providers.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Educational background in healthcare support is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is beneficial.

Essential Skills:
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Medent and Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting (90%) and occasional standing (10%).
  • Ability to reach (50%), bend (20%), and lift up to 25 lbs.
