Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication between outpatient clinics and patients to coordinate testing and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with both outpatient and inpatient departments to confirm patient information, ensure proper procedural ordering, and secure necessary authorizations.
- Maintain accurate patient charts and manage office supplies to support clinical operations.
- Oversee front desk activities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patients and providers.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Educational background in healthcare support is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is beneficial.
Essential Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Medent and Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting (90%) and occasional standing (10%).
