We are seeking a skilled Culinary Supervisor to become part of our esteemed event management team. In our kitchen, we embrace the roles of learners, educators, and leaders in the culinary arts, and we are eager to discover the unique contributions you can bring.

The Culinary Supervisor acts as the second-in-command in the kitchen, overseeing the operations of our award-winning venue. Responsibilities include assisting in the comprehensive management of kitchen activities, which encompasses ordering supplies, supervising kitchen staff, coordinating workflow, and ensuring the quality of all food production. Each team member is expected to lend a hand wherever necessary to guarantee seamless service. We take pride in our collaborative culture, and all team members are encouraged to perform additional tasks to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a professional kitchen setting

Certifications: ServSafe certification preferred

Commitment to a drug-free workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accuracy in protein counts and monitor food production.
  • Verify that all necessary items are prepared and delivered in optimal condition.
  • Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring adherence to recipes.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
  • Ensure food presentations are visually appealing and meet company standards.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and dedication to the culinary craft.
  • Follow all operational manuals and standard procedures.
Cost Management
  • Minimize waste and handle food with care to maximize freshness.
  • Keep storage areas organized and free of unnecessary items.
  • Document and report any waste.
Customer Service
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Treat all guests with respect and care.
Inventory Management
  • Review specifications and identify special requirements for events.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in food storage areas.

  • Request necessary items from suppliers as needed.
Team Collaboration
