Salary Range: $55,000 to $65,000

Role Summary

As the Culinary Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the effective management of the Culinary Department within our facilities. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the preparation and cooking of diverse food items, crafting daily menu selections, and ensuring proper presentation and garnishment. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to design new menus and assist with inventory management. This position is ideal for a dynamic and innovative culinary expert.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Executive Chef in managing budgetary controls and overseeing expenditures.
  • Assist in the planning and development of menus.
  • Coordinate and execute catering events.
  • Implement new culinary initiatives in partnership with the marketing and culinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience.
  • Progressive experience in culinary or kitchen management, based on formal education or training.
  • Catering experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in high-volume, complex food service operations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with institutional and batch cooking is beneficial.
  • Thorough understanding of food and catering trends, emphasizing quality, production, sanitation, food cost management, and presentation.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.
  • Willingness to engage in client satisfaction initiatives.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
