Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess the expertise and experience necessary to guide the internal team in overseeing the execution of intricate process-facility projects.

These projects encompass the design and construction of new manufacturing plants and facilities, as well as the refurbishment of existing plants/facilities and other high-risk environments.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with senior personnel to ensure the timely completion of projects. Candidates should have substantial project management experience in the construction of industrial facilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a team of skilled, high-caliber engineers and construction professionals.



Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction of industrial facilities
  • A strategic mindset, with proven collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and gain the support of colleagues
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all construction phases from Pre-Construction Services through to Commissioning
  • Previous experience in a design-build environment with engineers is advantageous
  • A background in chemical process or pharmaceutical projects is highly desirable
  • Ability to navigate a matrix organization
  • Capacity to work independently
  • Minimal travel required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the profitable execution of both large and small construction projects
  • Cultivate and maintain key client relationships, serving as the primary company contact for the project
  • Assume full managerial responsibility for all project aspects, including negotiating extras, cost control, collaborating with the engineering team for deliverables, scheduling, turnover, quality assurance, and cash management
  • Prepare project proposals and contracts, estimating fees and defining the scope of work
  • Actively manage the client's budget, schedule, and program, along with project communications and documentation
  • Coordinate work efforts and review the performance of team members
  • Ensure the delivery of quality projects on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue additional business opportunities with key clients
  • Facilitate work planning activities, profitability analysis, and coordinate with leadership to meet profitability targets
