Key Responsibilities- Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management: Provide direction for lab users on established policies and procedures.
- Management, Coordination and Implementation of Environment Health Safety and Sustainment: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Cost Analysis and Budget Management: Perform cost analysis and ensure task completion within approved budgets.
- Process Support to Supply Chain Management (SCM): Provide support to SCM teams to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations.
- Audit and Assessment Preparation: Oversee audit and assessment preparation, including the development of corrective action plans.
- Safeguarding of Classified/Proprietary Material: Ensure the safe and secure handling of classified and proprietary material.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Develop and implement communication plans to engage stakeholders and influence policy and procedure changes.
- Autonomous Work and Problem-Solving: Work autonomously with limited oversight, providing professional input, guidance, and problem-solving.
- Education and Experience: Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Engineering Lab Experience: Experience in an engineering lab environment, including safety, security, compliance, and property management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Security Clearance: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- Strong Mechanical and/or Electrical/Electronic Skills: Experience with mechanical and/or electrical/electronic systems and equipment.
- OSHA/NFPA Experience: Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations.
- Engineering Lab Experience: Experience working directly with engineers, technicians, and leadership in an engineering lab environment.
