We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Algorithm Certification Specialist to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to execute algorithm certification for our advanced screening technology products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to effectively communicate technical requirements and critical information for algorithm certification.
  • Provide regular updates on technical progress towards certification to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary product owner for algorithm development sprint teams.
  • Author or co-author algorithm documents required for certification.
  • Support basis of estimates, annual operating plans, and project forecasting for the data sciences organization.
Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Chemistry, or a similar discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
  • Proven track record of working with customers, product line managers, project managers, and technical teams to execute engineering projects.
  • Experience working with software engineers on algorithm development, testing, and release.
  • Experience with Agile software development.
  • Strong understanding of NPI processes.
  • Exemplary communication and organization skills.
  • Experience with technical writing of internal and customer-facing documents.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (US citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with regulated devices.
  • Experience with computed tomography systems.
  • Experience working on DHS/TSA contracts.
