We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Algorithm Certification Specialist to join our team at Leidos. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain technical relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with certification requirements.
- Collaborate with data science teams to effectively communicate technical requirements and critical information for algorithm certification.
- Provide regular updates on technical progress towards certification to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary product owner for algorithm development sprint teams.
- Author or co-author algorithm documents required for certification.
- Support basis of estimates, annual operating plans, and project forecasting for the data sciences organization.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Chemistry, or a similar discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
- Proven track record of working with customers, product line managers, project managers, and technical teams to execute engineering projects.
- Experience working with software engineers on algorithm development, testing, and release.
- Experience with Agile software development.
- Strong understanding of NPI processes.
- Exemplary communication and organization skills.
- Experience with technical writing of internal and customer-facing documents.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (US citizenship required).
- Experience working with regulated devices.
- Experience with computed tomography systems.
- Experience working on DHS/TSA contracts.
