Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of solar installation technicians to ensure successful project completion.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine feasibility and design requirements for solar energy systems.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to installation team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete installations efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement project proposals, quotes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring accurate estimates and timely project completion.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager and Branch Coordinator to provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and standards, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Manage warehouse facilities and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Active Michigan Residential Builder Contractor License
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in solar energy installation or a related field
  • Strong leadership and technical skills, with a focus on quality and customer service
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driving license and clean driving record

Physical Demands and Abilities:

  • Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
  • Regularly spend long hours answering phone calls and emails
  • Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly
  • Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering information into a computer
