Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Financial Services Representative to join our team at Northwest Community Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional member service by meeting members' needs through our sales and service culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Approach, welcome, and engage all visitors who come into the branch, managing traffic flow to provide minimal wait times.
  • Identify, refer, or originate all products and services offered by the credit union.
  • Receive, process, and post member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Process cash orders with management oversight, complete wire transactions, and check 21.
  • Respond and resolve members' requests, concerns, and complaints, and/or direct the member to the proper person/department for assistance.
  • Balance cash drawer and daily transactions. Balance vault and cash dispensers when necessary.
  • Assist management with certifications, key assignments, and balancing the vault.
  • Record detailed notes to document member interactions, complex situations, and transactions to minimize lapses in employee communication or member service.
  • Understand and comply with federal and state regulations relating to financial products and services as well as policies and procedures and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Take a proactive approach to learning new credit union systems and processes.
  • Maintain a professional image and engage as a positive team member.
  • Complete all required training.
  • Follow all security procedures and processes, including but not limited to, BSA regulations, including completing CTR and SAR reports when applicable.
Requirements
  • High school diploma (GED equivalent) required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience interaction with customers and cash handling or an equivalent role or work experience.
  • Must be eligible for NMLS.

  • Experience in the financial services industry.

Benefits

This position is eligible for Part-Time Regular benefits. Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. Medical, dental, and vision insurance is paid at 100% by the company for the employee coverage. We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA) and Day Care FSA (DCFSA). Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our 401k plan. Part-time employees will accrue time off on the same schedule as full-time employees with the accruals pro-rated based on their scheduled FTE and the following guidelines.
