About the Role

As a Financial Consultant at Charles Schwab, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within our Branch Network at the ground floor. This role provides the exposure and experience required to advance in the challenging space of financial consulting. You will learn what it takes to build a book of business through proactive, outbound calls to existing clients, uncovering opportunities through needs-based analysis and positioning appropriate products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase revenue and grow the client base.
  • Collaborate with experienced Financial Consultants to learn best practices and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Stay current on industry developments and regulatory requirements to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
  • A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program).
  • A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment).
  • A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment).
  • 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to leverage Business development experience.
  • Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services.
  • Openness to build strong client relationships.
