Job Title: IT Coordinator

At The Consortium, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Coordinator to join our team. As an IT Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our IT administrative areas and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-user technical awareness outreach as required.
  • Deliver in-person and remote training/presentation on new software to end users, and conduct new employee orientation.
  • Document and train activities, including drafting end-user/software, web application, "how to use" instructions, quick reference cards, etc.
  • Maintain project timelines, gather technical requirements from business and department users, and test new software, apps, systems, etc.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including compiling weekly team reports and maintaining meeting agendas, taking notes, and other administrative areas as assigned.
  • Draft and file basic IT reports, take meeting notes.
  • Maintain the IT inventory.
  • Perform preliminary audit report reviews, and file; send IT audit reminders.
  • Provide general IT operations support and coordination, including setting up meetings, drafting IT forms, end-user tickets, and performing other general activities/responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience in IT Coordinator or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or any professional field preferred.
  • Experience working in an association/law firm, or in a similar professional services environment.
  • Some IT Operations experience preferred.
  • Some experience in maintaining project timelines, and gathering technical requirements from business users.
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in supporting Windows desktop end-users, Office 365, Office apps, SharePoint, Cloud platforms, laptop computers, mobile phones, printers.
  • Basic understanding of Project Management and SDLC principles.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including communicating with diplomacy, discretion, and tact. Ability to write clearly and translate technical jargon into understandable and user-friendly information.
