About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Carters. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for upholding the company's mission, vision, and values to support a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-end results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall productivity of the store and support the management team in driving financial results through exceptional store standards, execution of company strategies, and positive customer interaction.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with the team, management, and associates, and regularly communicate employee concerns to the Store Manager for quick resolution.
  • Assist in hiring, actively recruit, and complete candidate application reviews to ensure open positions are filled timely, and offer consistent, in-the-moment feedback to store team members.
  • Recognize and reward exceptional performance to increase employee engagement, and partner with the Store Manager to address performance concerns of associates.
  • Maintain the Company standard of a neat, clean, and organized store, and meet and demonstrate exceptional customer service behaviors and maintain high standards throughout the store.
  • Responsible for leading and executing an assigned Division of Responsibility (DOR) through planning and detailed follow-through, and perform Leader on Duty responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with appropriate resolution.
Requirements
  • High school degree or GED minimum requirement, Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year in retail store management.
  • Demonstrated customer engagement skills, strong listening, written, and oral communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis, stand for long periods of time, climb up and down a ladder, and perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
