Job Summary

The Sales Director is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability in the enterprise segment. This individual will lead a team of sales professionals and develop strategies to expand the customer base and increase sales revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account strategies to grow the business and relationships within enterprise accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with partner companies and complementary technologies.
  • Maximize new monthly recurring revenue from commercial accounts and retain existing customers.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage sales performance and customer relationships.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, including hiring, training, and developing direct reports.
  • Develop and maintain account plans and detailed financial forecasts.
  • Conduct accurate sales forecasts and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, including sector strategies, hiring plans, management systems, and compensation plans.
  • Oversee and participate in programs to ensure expense objectives are met and recommend programs to control and correct budget overruns.
  • Own key sales support processes, including opportunity and forecast management, sales process management, and sales certification.
Requirements
  • College degree required.
  • Minimum of five years of sales leadership experience in the business services and enterprise sector of telecommunications.
  • Minimum of eight years of sales experience, including sales management.
  • Successful track record of sales achievement and sales leadership in directing a B2B sales force.
  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize effectively.
  • Strong people and relationship management skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated strong presentation and sales skills.
  • Valid state driver's license and a good driving record required.
  • Creative and flexible with a positive attitude.
  • Must possess broad knowledge of telecommunications, along with strong understanding of voice, video, and data.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain senior-level customer relationships.
