Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Positron Emission Tomography-Computed Tomography (PET/CT) procedures to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and advanced PET/CT procedures on designated body parts with minimal supervision.
  • Screen patients for precautions and contraindications before procedures.
  • Prepare patients for PET/CT procedures, explaining the process and providing support throughout.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assess, prepare, and administer radio pharmaceuticals according to Nuclear Regulatory Commission and departmental policies.
  • Administer fluorodioxyglucose (FDG) via intravenous methods to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Perform general maintenance on PET/CT scanners and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Requirements
  • NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
  • Licensed technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance.
