Software Development Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Fargate placement team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the core software of Fargate's architecture, enabling our customers to run their applications and accelerate cloud adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in interesting projects, helping to grow and mentor others on the team.
- Collaborate with teams across AWS to build features only possible at AWS scale.
- Translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, with a focus on architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable distributed services.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
