Senior Software Development Engineer, EKS Anywhere

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our EKS Anywhere team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us deliver our mission of making containers the next generation compute platform everywhere.
As a Software Engineer in the Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) team working on EKS Anywhere, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and highly available systems. You will work closely with our team to identify and solve complex technical problems, and collaborate with peers to build high-impact solutions.

Requirements- 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 7+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 7+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Development experience with Golang
- Experience with at least one of the following: Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker, etcd. Experience with Rancher, Openshift or other container orchestration platforms.
- Experience with design/architecting largescale distributed systems preferably using AWS technologies
- Experience with container networking
