Software Development Engineer, Cloud Scalability

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Scalability Engineer to join our team at Amazon Services LLC. As a Cloud Scalability Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building large-scale, highly available systems that can handle immense traffic and scale quickly to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable systems architecture to ensure high availability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud-based services
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable software components
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure software or distributed systems
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management
- Distributed systems, networking design and implementation experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
