Senior Software Development Engineer, EKS Anywhere

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our EKS Anywhere team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable software systems.
Our team is dedicated to building a core set of functionality that allows our customers to create and use Kubernetes at scale in their data centers or on AWS. We are looking for a talented engineer who can help us deliver this mission.
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging technical problems, collaborate with a talented team of engineers, and contribute to the development of our software systems.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable software systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues
- 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- 7+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Development experience with Golang
- Experience with at least one of the following: Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker, etcd. Experience with Rancher, Openshift, or other container orchestration platforms
- Experience with design/architecting large-scale distributed systems preferably using AWS technologies
- Experience with container networking
