Software Development Engineer, Cloud Computing

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure software and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop software components that meet the needs of our customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software components
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software
- Work closely with product managers to understand customer needs and develop software solutions

About the TeamYou will be part of the Utility Computing (UC) organization, which provides product innovations, including foundational services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon EC2, as well as consistently released new product innovations that set AWS's services and features apart in the industry.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure software or distributed systems
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
