Eugene Rehabilitation LLC recognizes the significance of accessible healthcare for our staff and is proud to collaborate with SEIU 503 and the Essential Worker Healthcare Trust to provide an exceptional health insurance plan at a substantially reduced cost for employees.

Our full-time team members in Oregon can enroll in either a PPO or HMO plan with deductibles starting as low as $800. Employees will be eligible to utilize their benefits within the first month of employment, eliminating the typical waiting period. Vision, dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other benefits are also available for enrollment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years in a skilled nursing environment with billing duties for Medicare, Medicaid, and HMO.
  • Education: At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Skill in interacting tactfully with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute and proficiency with a 10-key calculator.
  • Capability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret accounting programs, goals, and policies.
  • Competence in following written and verbal instructions.
  • Patience, tact, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm in dealing with residents, staff, and visitors of varying maturity levels.
  • Willingness to explore new methods and principles and integrate them into existing accounting practices.
  • Ability to review and verify financial documents and reports, preparing records systematically and legibly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining an effective accounting system that accurately reflects the facility's operational costs, including resident accounts and insurance coverage.
  • Timely processing and verification of invoice payments, ensuring accurate account representation.
  • Reviewing voucher reports, remittance advices, checks, and journals for accuracy.
  • Monthly billing for Medicaid, HMOs, and other insurance providers.
  • Communicating with vendors and managing accounts receivable, including regular follow-ups.
  • Recording, posting, and processing daily charge slips and payments, reconciling resident accounts at month-end.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements and bank statement reconciliations.
