Position Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

Willamette Family is in search of a dedicated Clinical Supervisor specializing in Substance Use Treatment to enhance our Outpatient Behavioral Health services. The successful candidate will demonstrate the essential skills and attributes required to guide and develop a clinical team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional substance use treatment tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Location: Willamette Family's Downtown Treatment Center

Compensation: $26/hour (Hourly, non-exempt)

Position Type: Full-Time

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership abilities, wellness promotion, service evaluation, staff development, service planning, case management, and community resource utilization.
  • Certification in Oregon: CADC II or higher.
  • Five years of full-time experience in alcohol and drug counseling, or a Bachelor's degree with four years of experience in social services, or a Master's degree with three years of experience in social services.
  • Typing proficiency of 40+ words per minute.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
  • Commitment to the agency's non-discrimination policies.
  • Ability to effectively engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical:

  • Provide individual and group supervision for substance use disorder counselors.
  • Ensure the implementation of Evidence-Based Practices with fidelity.
  • Deliver quality care customized to individual requirements.
  • Facilitate culturally competent services.
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of supervisees.
  • Design personalized development plans for clinicians to enhance their skills.

Compliance:

  • Uphold high ethical and professional standards.
  • Engage in quality assurance evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational rules and policies.
  • Safeguard Individual Service Records in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between Willamette Family and other service organizations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in addiction treatment.
  • Fulfill requirements necessary for maintaining certification.
  • Complete tasks assigned by senior management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in best practices for addiction treatment.
  • Familiarity with ASAM, OARs, and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in Office 2010 software, including Outlook.
  • Skilled in evidence-based interventions such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
  • Adept at training, coaching, and mentoring clinical staff.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Flexibility in addressing evolving needs.
  • Capability to assist clients in crisis situations.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in clinical documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
