Job Title: Field Service Engineer

CTR Group is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Providence, RI area. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on industrial plant and heavy machinery equipment, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of specialized mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on industrial plant and heavy machinery equipment
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of specialized mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Understand electrical systems, including 480 volt and below
  • Knowledge of hydraulic system component diagnostics, repair, and failure analysis of valves, stacks, pistons, and rams above 5000 PSI operating pressure
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or similar training and education
  • Minimum 5 years of facilities and machine maintenance experience
