**Job Title: Senior Field Service Technician - Industrial Machines**

Aerotek is seeking a highly motivated Senior Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Senior Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and servicing industrial machines for plastic industry companies. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure product performance, address and resolve questions and problems, and conduct training and service programs in the operation and maintenance of products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Install, inspect, and start-up company manufactured Automatic unloading equipment & custom automation solutions at customer sites according to specifications and drawings.
Monitor erection and installation of equipment to ensure that company guidelines and tolerances have been met.
Service all company products at customer sites; testing, troubleshooting and adjusting as needed.
Provide technical support to customers over the telephone, and via Email addressing and resolving questions and problems.
Communicate with appropriate company employees regarding product problems to facilitate problem resolution.
Conduct training and service programs in the operation and maintenance of equipment for customer employees.
Complete all required records and documentation for customers and for the company.
Determine the acceptance of equipment installation to activate warranty.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Completes special projects and other duties as assigned

**Requirements:**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 to 3 years of technical experience.
Industry-specific certifications a plus; must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, customer specifications, warranties, company standards, and operating and maintenance instructions.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization.
Ability to operate a variety of small hand and power tools, the ability to operate electronic testing equipment, the ability to travel, and the ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.
Work may involve international travel. Requires the ability to operate a variety of standard office machines, to include a computer, telephone, fax, copier, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The position is a travel-based position with visits to customers and work sites in the field. The employee regularly performs work-related travel, which may include travel outside of the country.
