Responsibilities- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage patient schedules and appointments, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our medical staff's preferences and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient registration, including demographic and medical history information.
- Process and manage patient payments, including insurance claims and billing.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of medical insurance and billing procedures.
- Provide administrative support to our medical staff, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a plastic surgery or medical specialty.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and practice management software.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A competitive salary range of $19.00-$21.00 per hour.
