Career Opportunities

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator for Research Funding and Contracts to join our team. This role will provide administrative support to researchers by identifying funding opportunities, assisting with proposal preparation and processing, negotiating contracts, receiving awards, and administering related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to researchers on proposal development and submission, ensuring adherence to sponsor and university guidelines
  • Negotiate and process awards, interpreting award conditions and obtaining approvals for modifications
  • Draft entire contracts following state laws and Board of Regents' guidelines
  • Supervise Grants and Contracts Specialists and other administrative positions

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field
  • 4 years of experience in business or public administration with an emphasis on customer service in financial or contracting positions

Note: Applicants without the stated degree but with significant additional professional applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
