About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architect to join our team at Environmental Science Associates. As a key member of our Landscape Architecture team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex public park, waterfront, and trail projects, including developing master plans and conceptual designs, participating in client and community engagement meetings, and integrating and translating science and field-based analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement creative solutions to complex design challenges, balancing public access and natural resource protection.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including biologists, engineers, and permitting specialists, to resolve complex project objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior staff, including reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
  • Support marketing efforts and contribute to the development of scopes, fee estimates, and proposal narratives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Licensed in Oregon or Washington.
  • At least 5-10 years of related work experience, with a strong background in landscape architecture and project management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
