Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents and guests
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels
- Collaborate with our hospitality team to provide exceptional service and ensure a positive dining experience for our residents and guests
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a senior living or hospitality environment
- Certified Executive Chef (CEC) certification from the American Culinary Federation
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, guests, and staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
- Master's degree in culinary arts or related field
- Experience with menu planning, food costing, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
