Technical Engineer for Certification Programs

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily technical administrative functions of our certification and laboratory accreditation program. This includes providing clear guidance to program participants, coordinating with various departments, implementing enhancements to current processes, assisting in the creation of new procedures as necessary, and effectively communicating with participants and international partners.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the certification and laboratory accreditation program to continuously lower the entry barriers by developing and maintaining training tools, resources, and processes for easier access and navigation.
- Conducting initial and renewal assessments for laboratory accreditation with program participants.
- Upholding the certification program by reviewing product catalogs for technical accuracy and data formatting, enforcing technical requirements, engaging with program participants on technical issues, investigating product claims, and consistently interpreting program provisions.
- Regularly preparing reports on the status of certification and laboratory accreditation initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering with up to five years of relevant engineering experience, or an associate's degree with up to ten years of HVAC design experience.
- Basic understanding of Lean principles.
- Experience in quality assurance.
- Good knowledge of common laboratory tests and equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; willingness to learn Excel VBA and basic programming is preferred.
- Must possess a valid passport or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire, as international travel will be required periodically.
