  • Develop and refine in-house design tools, analytical models, and electromagnetic simulations to enhance our design capabilities.
  • Engage with both internal and external teams to prototype designs and conduct motor dynamometer testing for performance evaluation and fault analysis.
  • Create motor control simulation models and assist in the development of motor control firmware.
  • Possess experience in the design and integration of power electronics for electromagnetic applications.
  • Demonstrate hands-on design and build skills, along with experience transitioning designs into manufacturing environments.

Qualifications:

  • Specialization in electromagnetics, either academically or within the industry, is essential.
  • A Master's degree or PhD in Engineering Physics or a related field is preferred; however, strong candidates with a Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in a related industry or research setting is preferred.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability and interest in mentoring students and junior engineers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • A proven track record of inventiveness and technical leadership is essential.
