Peer Recovery Support Specialist

Maryhaven, Central Ohio's largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Peer Recovery Support to join our team. As a Peer Recovery Support, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in recovery from substance use disorder.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide peer support and guidance to individuals in recovery, helping them navigate the recovery process and prevent relapse.
- Share personal recovery experiences and develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships with clients.
- Advocate for clients' needs and provide referrals to community resources as needed.
- Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have worked within the last three years with at least 12 months total of successful part-time or full-time paid or voluntary work experience.
- Valid State of Ohio Peer Recovery Support (APS) certification required.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
