Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement disaster recovery solutions
  • Test and validate disaster recovery plans to ensure effectiveness
  • Provide training and support to IT staff on disaster recovery procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 4-5 years of experience in disaster recovery and IT operations
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise technologies, including cloud, storage, database, and virtualization
  • Experience with risk analysis and mitigation strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of enterprise technology planning and delivery software
  • Ability to self-teach and drive for answers
