Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic leader to head our Technical Marketing Engineering team. This pivotal role involves guiding the team to collaborate effectively with Solution Engineers, the Marketing Team, and the Product Team, ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer experiences and driving business success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, technical knowledge, and a commitment to fostering innovation within the edge computing domain.

Mission of the Technical Marketing Engineering Team:

Our mission is to empower success across the organization by supporting Solution Engineers with product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs), offering technical insights to the Marketing Team, and contributing to product enhancement initiatives. We aim to ensure the smooth integration and optimization of ZEDEDA's edge computing solutions for our clients and partners, ultimately driving market growth and establishing ZEDEDA as a leader in the edge computing landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Technical Marketing Engineers, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Establish clear objectives, expectations, and performance metrics for the team, monitoring progress towards achieving these goals.
  • Work closely with Solution Engineers to facilitate product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for clients and partners.
  • Provide technical insights and support to the Marketing Team to create impactful marketing strategies, content, and materials.
  • Collaborate with the Product Team by offering feedback, insights, and technical expertise to enhance product features and capabilities.
  • Oversee hardware certification initiatives by liaising with hardware vendors and internal teams to ensure compatibility and optimization of ZEDEDA's edge computing solutions.
  • Assist in the integration of partner applications with ZEDEDA's platform, including testing, validation, and documentation.
  • Assess and compare various technologies and solutions.
  • Offer deployment support to clients and partners, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in technical marketing, solution engineering, or a similar field.
  • A solid understanding of cloud computing, Linux OS, networking, open source, and edge computing concepts and technologies is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with hardware certification, partner integration, performance analysis, and deployment support is preferred.
  • A passion for technology, innovation, and driving customer success.
