Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic leader to head our Technical Marketing Engineering team. This pivotal role will guide the team in supporting Solution Engineers, the Marketing Department, and the Product Division to deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive business success. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, technical knowledge, and a fervor for innovation in the edge computing sector.
Mission of the Technical Marketing Engineering Team:
Our mission is to empower success across the organization by collaborating with Solution Engineers to facilitate product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs), providing valuable technical insights to the Marketing Department, and contributing to product enhancement initiatives. We aim to ensure the seamless integration and optimization of ZEDEDA's edge computing solutions for our clients and partners, ultimately driving market growth and establishing ZEDEDA as a leader in the edge computing landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Technical Marketing Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Establish clear objectives, expectations, and performance metrics for the team, monitoring progress toward achieving them.
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers to assist in product demonstrations and POCs for clients and partners.
- Provide technical insights and support to the Marketing Department to develop impactful marketing campaigns, content, and collateral.
- Support the Product Division by offering feedback, insights, and technical expertise to enhance product features and capabilities.
- Oversee hardware certification efforts by collaborating with hardware vendors and internal teams to ensure compatibility and optimization of ZEDEDA's edge computing solutions.
- Facilitate the integration of partner applications with ZEDEDA's platform, including testing, validation, and documentation.
- Evaluate and compare various technologies and solutions.
- Provide deployment support to clients and partners, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience in technical marketing, solution engineering, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of cloud computing, Linux OS, networking, open source, and edge computing concepts and technologies is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with hardware certification, partner integration, performance analysis, and deployment support is preferred.
- A passion for technology, innovation, and driving customer success.
