Position Overview:

ZEDEDA is in search of a leader for our Technical Marketing Engineering team. This pivotal role involves guiding and overseeing the technical marketing engineering team to assist Solution Engineers, the Marketing Team, and the Product Team in delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving business success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, technical knowledge, and a fervor for fostering innovation within the edge computing domain.

Mission of the Technical Marketing Engineering Team:

As Technical Marketing Engineers, our mission is to empower success across the organization by providing support to Solution Engineers through product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs), offering technical insights to the Marketing Team, and contributing to product enhancement initiatives. We aim to ensure the seamless integration and optimization of ZEDEDA's edge computing solutions for our customers and partners, ultimately driving market growth and establishing ZEDEDA as a leader in the edge computing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Technical Marketing Engineers, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Establish clear objectives, expectations, and performance goals for the team while monitoring progress towards these goals.
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineers to facilitate product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for customers and partners.
  • Provide technical insights and support to the Marketing Team to create impactful marketing campaigns, content, and collateral.
  • Assist the Product Team by offering feedback, insights, and technical expertise to enhance product features and capabilities.
  • Oversee hardware certification efforts by collaborating with hardware vendors and internal teams to ensure compatibility and optimization of ZEDEDA's edge computing solutions.
  • Facilitate the integration of partner applications with ZEDEDA's platform, including testing, validation, and documentation.
  • Evaluate and compare various technologies and solutions.
  • Provide deployment support to customers and partners, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in technical marketing, solution engineering, or a related field.
  • A solid understanding of cloud computing, Linux OS, networking, open source, and edge computing concepts and technologies is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with hardware certification, partner integration, performance analysis, and deployment support is preferred.
  • A passion for technology, innovation, and driving customer success.

What We Offer:

ZEDEDA's primary compensation philosophy is to provide opportunities for growth and development within the company. The base pay range for this role is between $185,000 and $225,000, which includes commission, equity, and benefits components to complete your total compensation.
