Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Holiday Companies. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ring up all sales on the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Perform multi-function operations of fuel consoles, lottery machines, and other equipment to ensure seamless customer transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the fueling area, parking lot, and surrounding areas.
  • Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order, reporting any issues to management.
  • Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits to ensure accurate sales reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the store.
Working Conditions

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision. You will be required to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds, and push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds. You will also be exposed to occasional noise and extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
