About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Taylor Corporation. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner, and working closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a dedicated point of contact for sales representatives, account managers, and customers, providing information and resolving inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
  • Anticipate and respond to internal and external customers' needs, documenting and maintaining SOPs as needed.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer experience.
  • Assist sales teams in understanding product details, pricing, and processes.
  • Accurately translate and communicate customer project requirements to production facilities.
  • Receive and document customer complaints, monitoring inventory levels and issuing purchase orders as necessary.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism in dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Represent the company and its products in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Partner with sales representatives to build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
Requirements
  • High school degree or GED (general education degree).
  • 4+ years of previous customer service or customer support experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create short correspondence and memos for various audiences.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
