About the Opportunity

As a Compressed Air Systems Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert on technical information for the sales of compressed air systems, accessories, parts, and service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generating leads and developing detailed sales plans to effectively penetrate accounts and achieve sales goals
  • Traveling to current and prospective customer sites within a designated sales territory to demonstrate and explain products and services, conduct needs assessments, and solicit orders
  • Recommending compressed air system products and services to customers based on their needs, interests, costs, and other factors
  • Preparing and presenting quotes, proposals, and service contracts to potential and existing customers
  • Reviewing detailed design drawings, specifications, or lists related to compressed air system installations
  • Negotiating prices and terms of equipment sales and aftermarket service agreements
  • Recording prospecting activity in a customer relationship management system
  • Increasing organizational visibility within the industrial and manufacturing industries through active networking

About You

The Compressed Air Systems Specialist opportunity may be a match for you if you have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field and 2+ years' B2B sales experience in the industrial/capital equipment industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license and clear motor vehicle record
  • Proven ability to generate leads, convert leads to sales opportunities, and achieve sales targets
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management systems
