Job Summary

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a skilled Maintenance Lead to oversee the maintenance activities of our store. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and condition of our internal and external store and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the duties of maintenance associates, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal store conditions.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Store Manager to prioritize tasks and allocate resources.
  • Provide training and coaching to maintenance associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team.
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate daily activities and routine tasks associated with maintenance.
  • Minimum age requirement.
  • Flexible schedule required.
Physical Demands
  • Stand/walk 100% of the time.
  • Frequent reaching, lifting, bending, and squatting.
  • Ability to handle cleaning materials and substances.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs. approximately 50% of the time.
  • Push/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly.
