About the Role

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our stores, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance associates to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation
  • Conduct regular inspections of store facilities and equipment to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with store management and other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting
