Job Summary

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Lead to oversee the maintenance activities of our store. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and condition of our internal and external store and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance associates, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal store conditions.
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance associates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety, fire prevention, and security protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team and associates to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team.
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate daily activities and routine tasks associated with maintenance operations.
  • Meet minimum age requirements.
  • Flexible schedule required.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand/walk 100% of the time.
  • Frequent reaching and lifting (mop buckets, spills).
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Ability to handle a variety of cleaning materials/substances.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs. approximately 50% of the time.
  • Push/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly.
