Role Overview:

The Security Program Oversight Officer is responsible for managing classified government contract initiatives and supervising the daily functions of a Special Access Program Facility (SAPF). This role involves providing assistance in clearance processing, visit certifications, document management, and ensuring physical security for areas associated with special access programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct highly sensitive security briefings.
  • Coordinate all security training programs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with senior management and external agencies.
  • Engage with internal and external clients or government security representatives to perform security duties.
  • Address routine personnel security matters with employees regarding various issues.
  • Prepare reports and conduct program security access briefings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) or security specialist managing security programs.
  • Experience with SCI or SAP programs, JPAS, and eQIP.
  • Familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD), and DoD and COMSEC security requirements.
  • Understanding of the government classified contract process.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC).

Clearance:

Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Our compensation structure considers various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The estimated salary range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 annually.
