Mental Health Support Specialist

The Mental Health Technician (MHT) plays a vital role in ensuring patient safety and providing continuous care to patients of all ages. As an active member of the treatment team, the MHT will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities- Provide continuous patient care and supervision to patients of all ages.
- Work collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' behavior and report any concerns to the treatment team.
- Participate in training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High School Degree or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
- Two (2) years of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness, preferred.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state.
