Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based outpatient mental health treatment and medication management to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide compassionate and ethical mental health treatment and medication management to patients.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
- Employ evidence-based treatment modalities with patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to inform treatment decisions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP preferred) in the state of VA. MD and/or D.C preferred.
- Active DEA license in VA. MD and/or D.C preferred.
- Active NPI number.
- 2+ years of experience providing medication management treatment to children, adolescents, and/or adults is highly preferred.
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Behavioral Health setting.
- Demonstrated experience caring for a diverse mix of patients receiving mental health treatment for anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and more.
- Skilled in evidence-based clinical treatment methods and applying varied interventions with patients in crisis.
- Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills.
