Role Overview

As the Team Leader for Administrative Support Operations, you will manage a dedicated team of Administrative Assistants (AAs) who provide essential support across various sectors within GIB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Professional Support Talent Director to strategize and implement growth initiatives for support staff, ensuring alignment with broader departmental objectives.
  • Supervise the Administrative Assistant team, ensuring they effectively meet the administrative needs of our banking professionals.
  • Execute leadership's vision to foster a culture of high performance and productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with GIB procedures.
  • Enhance team engagement and business development knowledge through regular meetings and training sessions.
  • Conduct routine one-on-one coaching sessions to help AAs develop their skills and achieve their career aspirations.
  • Assist in the preparation of semi-annual and annual performance evaluations in collaboration with the Professional Support Talent Director.
  • Participate in recruitment activities, including resume reviews, candidate screenings, and interview panels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to promote best practices within the support team.
  • Continuously assess and refine processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate relevant practices into team operations.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • 3+ years in an executive assistant or similar role with relevant transferable skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Workday, Salesforce, Concur, and SharePoint is preferred.
  • Proficient in using virtual communication platforms such as Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
  • Minimal travel requirements.
