Job Title: Strategic Operations Associate

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking a Strategic Operations Associate to join its Administration Department. This hybrid role will require travel to our headquarters in Charlotte.

The Strategic Operations Associate will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and enhancing the operational efficiency of our organization. This role will provide actionable insights through internal performance analysis, external market research, and building data visualization tools that support our mission of building a foundation of healing and hope through equity, education, and evidence-based practice.

The successful candidate will collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement strategies that achieve measurable outcomes, streamline processes, and ensure the highest quality of care for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analysis and synthesize data from enterprise software platforms to assess the performance of programs, services, and operations.
  • Gather and synthesize external data from industry reports, public health data, and other relevant sources to assess market demand and identify gaps in services.
  • Create forecasting models for growth and workforce development to accomplish strategic priorities based on quantitative and qualitative data from various sources.
  • Facilitate strategic visioning and prioritization sessions with C-Suite leaders.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives based on data-driven findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes that optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service delivery.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive performance measurement frameworks to monitor progress toward strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive data visualization tools, including dashboards, working closely with cross-discipline teams to validate data.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate performance results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders, executive leaders, and the Board of Trustees.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in strategic planning, process improvement, or healthcare management, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and actionable reports.
