Established in 2009, Knowledge and Education for Your Success (KEYS) is a nonprofit organization that aims to improve access to essential services for low-income individuals and families. Our organization focuses on providing a variety of supportive services, including case management, to help clients navigate available resources.


The CLIENT INTAKE COORDINATOR will be responsible for organizing and facilitating the screening process for individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This role may involve working in both office and field settings, and includes routine administrative tasks to support various departments within KEYS. Providing exceptional customer service is a key component of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to phone inquiries, welcome visitors, and provide general information about KEYS programs. Direct calls to appropriate staff or external agencies as needed.
  • Assist with initial program screenings and assessments, coordinating client appointments both in-office and offsite. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for program admission. Review client files and address any questions.
  • Facilitate client transportation related to services, based on individual needs and eligibility, using KEYS vehicles.
  • Conduct data entry into relevant databases and prepare information for reports; maintain organized files, schedules, logs, and records; and compile basic statistical data.
  • Deliver customer service in both English and Spanish.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with training in typing, computer software, filing, and office procedures. An associate degree is preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in social services or the housing sector is necessary. Experience working with high-risk populations, including those facing homelessness, substance abuse issues, or mental health challenges, is highly valued. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential, along with a valid driver's license.
