The Impact You Will Make
The Multifamily - Internal Audit - Senior Associate role offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to work alongside a collaborative team. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Applying technical knowledge and expertise in credit risk, commercial mortgage, and fraud risk to conduct internal audits and reviews across Fannie Mae's Multifamily division.
  • Assisting with audit planning, drafting initial audit scope, documenting details of planning and walkthrough meetings, and identifying controls to mitigate potential risk factors within assigned process/areas.
  • Developing, documenting, and executing audit test steps in partnership with more senior team members.
  • Assisting in evaluating controls, identifying control gaps, conducting substantive testing, and documenting sufficient supporting information.
  • Facilitating the presentation of findings and conclusions in accordance with work paper standards, identifying and discussing audit findings with the audit team, and documenting exceptions.
  • Assisting with drafting audit reports and other key deliverables.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • 2 years of experience in risk, audit, or control roles and/or public accounting.
  • Knowledge of credit risk management, commercial real estate, and fraud risk.

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per annum, which reflects the skills, experience, and qualifications required.
