Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Real Estate Financial Analyst to join our team at Standard Communities. As a key member of our acquisitions team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and underwriting support for potential development opportunities across the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Develop complex financial models to value real-estate investments using Excel.
  • Maintain ownership of financial models throughout the deal lifecycle, including responsibility for assumptions and calculations within the model.
  • Assist in the closing process with investors and lenders, ensuring timely and successful project completion.
  • Conduct rent studies and market tours to inform investment decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including investors, lenders, government agencies, vendors, sellers, and brokers.
  • Review third-party reports and other diligence materials to inform financial modeling.
  • Support the preparation and scoring of funding applications for LIHTC deals, working closely with local counsel and internal teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Real Estate Concentration is highly desirable.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in multifamily real estate, preferably with exposure to tax credit transactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to follow through on tasks and responsibilities.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

At Standard Communities, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive team environment. Our estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
